BLOOMINGTON, Ill.– After a rain delay pushed Tuesday's game to a Wednesday doubleheader, Illinois State took both games against the Braves.
Game One
The Braves and Redbirds remained scoreless after 3 innings of play, when Illinois State got on the board in the bottom of the 4th inning.
The Braves responded with a 4-run top of the 5th inning, prompted by Jordy van der Werf with her first HR of the season.
