EVANSTON, IL - Fielding a lineup that does not have a player with more than one season of fall experience with the Braves, Bradley showed some veteran resolve down the stretch, but ultimately came away with a scoreless draw in the first of its three preseason exhibition games Friday night at Northwestern.
While Northwestern held the statistical advantage through the first two 30-minute periods, Bradley's youthful squad dominated the final 30-minute segment, but could not earn the ultimate reward. It appeared the Braves moved ahead about six minutes into the final period off a corner kick set, but as the ball emerged from the scrum in front of the net, the Wildcats keeper apparently pinned the ball against the post.
