KALAMAZOO, MI - Playing a man down for more than 84 minutes, Bradley (2-7-2) withstood a historic offensive effort from Western Michigan (8-2-1) to earn a 1-1 draw Saturday afternoon at WMU Soccer Complex.
Richard Olson scored his third goal of the year in 17th minute and Logan Ketterer made a career-high 13 saves to offset Western Michigan's 40-8 advantage in shots. The 40 shots by the Broncos were the most by a Bradley opponent in Jim DeRose's 21 years as head coach and the third-most all-time. Western Michigan players Brandon Bye and Anthony Bowie each record 13 shots, tying for the second-most total by an opposing player.
