Iowa City, Iowa – Senior David Shadid set the school record in the 600m on Saturday, highlighting a day with 21 top-10 finishes by the Bradley track and field team at the Hawkeye Invitational.
Shadid ran the distance in a time of 1:21.19 – topping his previous school record of 1:21.74 set last season. The senior led all attached runners in the race (second overall), while junior Scott Seymour placed fourth in the event with a time of 1:22.7, just missing his PR by 0.39 seconds.
The duo was also a part of BU's 4x400 relay, who with a time of 3:22.
