Shadid Brothers Lead Baseball in Sunday Romp

PEORIA, IL – Brothers Luke and Andy Shadid combined to go 5-for-6 with six RBI's and three Bradley pitchers combined on a 1-hitter, leading the Braves (17-10) to a 14-2 win against Robert Morris-Springfield Sunday afternoon at Dozer Park.

Bradley wrapped up its season-long, 9-game home stand with its fifth straight win at Dozer Park. Leading the nation in earned run average, the Braves allowed only two earned runs in their five home games this week, including one Sunday, to lower their season ERA to 2.21.

Senior RHP Sam Lund earned the win in an abbreviated 3-man effort Sunday, by allowing one unearned run on one hit with two walks and seven strikeouts in 4.
