PEORIA — Rienk Mast is feeling much more comfortable. And that’s a very good sign for Bradley basketball.
The 6-foot-9, 230-pound freshman, who is medically redshirting this year after undergoing ACL knee surgery last May, was determined to play at some point this season when he arrived from his home in The Netherlands in August.
“Rienk is super competitive, and he wanted to play,” said BU coach Brian Wardle. “But reality set in with his injury. There’s no reason to rush him. It’s the best move for his career and was a no-brainer decision.
