Scott helps Indiana State rally past Redbirds

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Brenton Scott scored a career-high 25 points as Indiana State rallied from a 13-point deficit to beat Illinois State, 77-65, in a Missouri Valley Conference basketball game Saturday before a Hulman Center crowd of 3,801.

ISU (9-8, 3-1), which has not won at the Hulman Center since 2007, had a four-game winning streak snapped. MiKyle McIntosh paced the Redbirds with a career-high 20 points and Paris Lee tied his career high with 18 points.

The Redbirds took a 32-19 lead with 3:23 left in the first half before Indiana State (9-7, 3-1) cut the gap to 34-28 at halftime.
