KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Mother Nature eventually prevailed as Bradley Softball had its opening day at the Tennessee Invitational cancelled due to rain in Knoxville, Tenn., area.
After pushing the start of the tournament back one day earlier in the week and delaying the start of Saturday's contests, inclement weather finally forced the cancellation of Saturday afternoon's game between Bradley and 7th-ranked Tennessee.
The Braves (5-5 overall) will now play three games at the Tennessee Invitational over the next two days. Bradley will face Kansas Sunday at 10:30 a.m. (CST) in the first of two games tomorrow, before returning Sherri Parker Lee Softball Stadium later that afternoon for a 4 p.
