INDIANAPOLIS – Illinois State senior Ashley Rosch has been named the Missouri Valley Conference's nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award, the NCAA announced Wednesday.
Initially one of 231 Division I student-athletes nominated for the award, Rosch is now one of just 54 conference nominees eligible to claim the honor.
Rosch is now one of just 54 candidates for the award from the Division I level. The former Illinois State volleyball standout was one of 231 Division I student-athletes nominated for the award.
The NCAA Woman of the Year award honors graduating female student-athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in the areas of academic achievement, athletics excellence, service and leadership.
