“The signs have been pointing. I feel like right now is a good time to leave,” Robinson said. “I feel like we built some great things in the two years I’ve been here. With the players returning, they should have a pretty good team.”
A former all-state player at Danville High School, Robinson coached the Pontiac 66ers in 2016 to a 12-4 record in the Midwest Professional Basketball Association to earn Coach of the Year honors.
