CHICAGO, Ill. – For the second time this postseason, Illinois State junior running back James Robinson has been named an All-American, this time by STATS FCS which tabbed him as a second-team selection Tuesday on its annual list of the best players in FCS football.

Robinson was previously named to The Associated Press FCS All-America Third Team. He is one of 17 student-athletes from the Missouri Valley Football Conference to be named to the list, the most selections of any league. Robinson was also a finalist for the 2018 STATS FCS Walter Payton Award, given to the outstanding offensive player in college football's Division I subdivision.
