William Tinsley, a Ridgeview High School graduate who will be a sophomore guard at Lake Land College, announced Friday he will sign a national letter of intent in November to play basketball for Illinois State.
Tinsley, a 6-foot-6 guard, will have two years of eligibility beginning next fall. He led Ridgeview to third place in the Class 1A State Tournament as a senior and averaged 15.5 points and 5.4 rebounds last season as a freshman at Lake Land.
