NORMAL — Whether he's starting or coming off Illinois State's bench, senior point guard Ricky Torres figures his job remains the same.
"We're losing so I need to do more. If we're winning, we're winning," said Torres, who averages 6.4 points, 3.3 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game. "But we're losing and I'm a senior guard on the team, so I feel like I need to do more for us to be better."
Torres knows ISU, which has lost six of its last eight games and dropped to 4-6, needs to start winning games to gain some confidence before the Missouri Valley Conference season begins.
