PEORIA - For the first 34 minutes Thursday at Carver Arena, Bradley often resembled the Keystone Kops. Passes were flying into the stands, dribblers were dribbling off their own feet and the shot clock horn kept going off - three times in one 12-minute stretch.
Then, inexplicably, three BU freshmen came to the rescue. In the last 5:50, the butterflies and butterfingers vanished, replaced by a steeled poise and cold-blooded execution.
"We were being patient with the ball, which made it easier to reverse the ball and get easy gaps to drive," said one of those freshmen, guard Nate Kennell.
