STATESBORO, Ga. — Even on a night when Bradley committed 31 fouls and 30 turnovers, believed to be the highest team totals in both categories in at least 29 years, there was some good news.
Despite those horrific numbers, the Braves did enough things well Tuesday night to stay in a road game against a good team, falling to Georgia Southern in overtime 79-74.
That means some serious defense was being played. The Braves switched between man and zone and helped force the hosts to make 25 turnovers themselves.
“We gave ourselves a good opportunity,” said guard Nate Kennell.
