Bradley has to be glad the Mountain West Challenge is over.
For the seventh consecutive game the Braves have played in the Missouri Valley/Mountain West series dating from 2009, the Braves were soundly defeated on Saturday night. Six of the losses — to BYU, Wyoming, Boise State, Nevada, San Diego State and Saturday’s 85-75 defeat to New Mexico — were all by double digits.
This one began much differently than all the rest as the Braves raced to an 11-0 lead in the first three minutes.
But the Lobos, who started a makeshift lineup because of a team policy that rewards starts to players who lead the team in defensive deflections, quickly recovered once all their regulars were in the game.
