PEORIA — Bradley athletics held a safari Saturday night hunting for big bucks.
And while the dollars expectation was modest coming off a record-breaking total of well over $100,000 in 2015, the annual Bids for the Braves, the department’s biggest fundraiser held at Renaissance Coliseum, did nearly as well as last year.
“Last year was a magical year with Chris (Reynolds) and Brian (Wardle) being new,” said BU senior associate athletic director for external affairs Brad Mitchell. “So we didn’t set a dollar goal this year. But I couldn’t be more excited to have a six-figure total again.
