KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Illinois State men's tennis team completed day one of the WMU Vredevelt Invitational at Sorensen Courts in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Play included two rounds of singles and two rounds of doubles.
"Today went well with some positive results and I saw our doubles teams get much stronger as the day went on. I can definitely see some improvements in certain guys' games and that's great to see," said head coach Mark Klysner.
The Redbirds started the day off with single matches, where Diego Le Gal Perez defeated Western Michigan's Zac Faveri with a 10-7 tiebreaker.
