NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State softball team snapped a six-game Missouri Valley Conference losing streak last weekend against Wichita State, and will look to continue its winning ways this weekend against Indiana State. The Redbirds and Sycamores will play a three-game series Saturday and Sunday.
Illinois State (10-24, 2-6 MVC) is coming off of a 7-1 loss to Illinois Tuesday night at Marian Kneer Stadium. The Redbirds were no-hit through the first four innings and fell to the Illini for the third-straight year.
