NORMAL, Ill. – The 2019-20 Illinois State men's basketball season will open on Wednesday, Nov. 6 against Belmont, and in addition to the season-opening game, there are many other exciting events surrounding the contest.
To kick off Big Wednesday, the first 700 students in attendance will receive a replica 6th man men's basketball jersey. Red Alert members can enjoy 15-minute early admission (5:45 p.m.) at the south doors to Redbird Arena. All other students and fans can enter the building starting at 6 p.m.
Illinois State students now have seating in both end zones. The north end zone (sections 123, 124, and 125) is the new primary student section, and will be closest to the visiting team bench, new band section, and cheer/dance teams.
