Yarbrough led the Redbirds (2-1) with 25 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Phil Fayne scored 15 points and Josh Jefferson added 13.
“We had a lot of bonehead mistakes and errors. We're just not a good defensive team right now,” said ISU coach Dan Muller. “I thought our effort was better and attitudes were better. It's just you lose confidence when our mindset is where it's been for the last couple weeks and you face some adversity.
