NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State Redbirds split a Saturday afternoon doubleheader with the Bradley Braves, giving the visitors a 2-1 series win. Illinois State's offense was on full display in the opener, winning 13-6, before Bradley opened and closed strong, winning 9-3 in the finale.
John Rave went 4-for-8 on the day with three runs scored and a pair of doubles, while Jordan Libman was 3-for-6, also with three runs scored. Rave, Libman, and Collin Braithwaite each scored three times, while Rave, Jack Butler, and Braithwaite drove in three runs apiece.
