RICHMOND, Ky. – Using rounds of 295 and 300 the Illinois State women's golf team stands in sixth place at the 2023 Colonel Classic and is just four strokes out of second place with 18 holes to play in the tournament.
ISU's 595 trails only Austin Peay (585), Georgia State (591), Dayton (594), North Alabama (594), and Bradley (594), and the 'Birds are ahead of Belmont (601), Morehead State (602), Bellarmine (602), Butler (604), Eastern Kentucky (606), Akron (607), Marshall (610), Cleveland State (619), Ohio (623), and Ball State (624).
The Redbirds are led after the first 36 holes by Michaela Kverkova, who carded rounds of 74 and 73 for a 147, tied for 11th overall.
