NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State baseball will return to action tomorrow when the team heads to Evanston to play the Northwestern Wildcats in a nonconference matchup. The first pitch at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
Illinois State Redbirds (27-17, 9-3 MVC)
The Redbirds come into the mid-week matchup on a two-game skid after a conference series loss at Dallas Baptist. The 'Birds led in all three games against the Patriots, but were ultimately outscored 32-16 on the weekend. After the weekend, ISU still leads the Missouri Valley Conference in five different statistical categories as a team.
