MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Illinois State picked up a split of its weekend matches in Milwaukee on Sunday, as the Redbirds took control early and never looked back in a 6-1 win over Marquette at the Helfaer Tennis & Recreation Center.
"This was a much-needed win today just to build some confidence in the boys," ISU head coach Mark Klysner said. "Coming off of such a disappointing match yesterday which I felt like we got the short end of things, it was so nice to see the boys bounce back and play so well against a scrappy Marquette team.
