NORMAL — Illinois State head basketball coach Dan Muller announced Monday that Indiana State associate head coach Marcus Belcher is joining the Redbird staff as an assistant coach.

Belcher, a former Southern Illinois point guard and assistant coach, has spent the last eight years on Greg Lansing's staff with Indiana State before resigning last week. He was promoted to the Sycamores' associate head coach in April 2017.
