NORMAL, Ill. – A career-high scoring output from Illinois State forward Dusan Mahorcic could not overcome a cold shooting night from the Redbirds, as the hosts made just 20 percent of its three-point shots and 40 percent overall from the field, as ISU fell 70-56 in the first game of a two-game series with the UNI Panthers on Friday night.
Mahorcic scored a career-high of 18 points, while also pulling down eight rebounds, tied for the most in the game. Antonio Reeves scored 10 for Illinois State, with Howard Fleming Jr.
