MURRAY, Ky. – Illinois State women's golf improved three places each round of the Invitational to end in a fifth place tie along with Bradley. The team scored 914 over three rounds (312-303-299) at the par-71, 6,010 yard Jan Weaver Invitational.
The Redbirds tied their season-best 54-hole tournament score at the Invitational. Eastern Kentucky topped the 15-team field 20-over-par.
Caitlin Sims and Paige Seiser played stroke-for-stroke again in round three to end in a three-way 16th place tie. Sims played one-over-par in the third round to end with a 227 (78-76-73).
