EVANSTON, Ill. – Illinois State lost at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park on Wednesday afternoon to Northwestern by a final score of 6-3. The Wildcats scored five runs in the home half of the eighth inning to take the lead. The Redbirds were unable to score in the ninth inning to fall short in the contest. Illinois State drops to 27-18 during its three game skid.
