NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's basketball team fell to Missouri State 57-41 on Sunday afternoon in Redbird Arena. Junior TeTe Maggett led the Redbirds with 11 points, six rebounds and two assists.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The 'Birds got on the board first when Viria Livingston intercepted a Missouri State pass, starting a possession that resulted in a Megan Talbot lay-up. Lexy Koudelka added two more points on free throws to give Illinois State a 4-0 lead at the first media timeout.
