TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State scored the first eight points of the game and never trailed despite 18 points from freshman DJ Horne, as the Redbirds fell 65-52 on Saturday afternoon.
How it Happened
The Sycamores used a pair of three-pointers and a paint jumper to quickly jump ahead 8-0 in the contest. The Redbirds answered with five straight points on a free throw from Jaycee Hillsman and jumpers from Horne and Matt Chastain to close the gap to 8-5.
