NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State soccer team topped the Milwaukee Panthers, 2-1, in a preseason match Saturday night at Adelaide Street Field. The Redbirds tied the Panthers, 1-1, in last season's preseason match up.
Junior Kiley Czerwinski and senior Hannah Rodgers each tallied a goal in the win. Czerwinski capitalized on a through ball from senior Kelli Zickert to cross the keeper and hit the top right corner of the net in the middle of the first half to give the Redbirds a 1-0 advantage.
