SEATTLE – After facing back-to-back Ohio Valley Conference opponents the past two weekends, the Illinois State baseball program will head west to face Pac-12 stalwart Washington to begin its spring break trip. The Redbirds (5-4) and the Huskies (6-5) will kick off a four-game series Friday and conclude it Monday at Husky Ballpark.
ISU picked up a series win last weekend at Morehead State, winning the first two games of the series 16-8 and 13-10. Overall, the Redbirds have scored 10 or more runs six times this season and have won three our their last four contests.
