NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State football head coach Brock Spack bolstered his depth at the quarterback position Wednesday, as he announced the addition of former Memphis signal caller Brady Davis to his team's roster.
Davis signed his financial aid agreement and immediately becomes eligible to play for the Redbirds, due to NCAA transfer rules. The 6-foot-4, 205 pound quarterback out of Columbus, Mississippi, will have two years of eligibility remaining with ISU.
"Brady bring some competition and experience to our quarterback room which is always a good thing," Spack said. "We heard a lot of good things about him from the former staff at Memphis who had ties to ISU and they all speak highly of him.
