OXFORD, Miss. – The Illinois State men's and women's track and field teams open their outdoor season at the Joe Walker Invitational hosted by the University of Mississippi at the Ole Miss Track & Field Complex March 24-25.
The Redbirds will be competing against 30 teams that are spread throughout the country including two ranked teams who are the No.13 men's Ole Miss and No. 23 women's Ole Miss. Illinois State will also competing against Missouri Valley foe Indiana State.
The women are coming off a strong conference at the MVC Championships as they were the women's 2017 runner-up championships.
