ST. LOUIS – Illinois State Swimming & Diving's Julie Kolar has earned the State Farm MVC Good Neighbor Award, the Missouri Valley Conference office announced Thursday morning. Kolar was one of 10 student-athletes in the Valley to receive this honor from Commissioner Jeff Jackson.
Kolar, who has maintained a 4.00 cumulative grade point average as Marketing (Integrated Marketing Communications) major and a Psychology minor, is a two-time MVC Scholar-Athlete Team selection. The Lincolnwood, Illinois, native has been an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) since August 2019, serving in the leadership role of Vice President since August 2021.
