ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Illinois State duo of Will Troy and TJ Barger have each been named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week for their performances at the Hawkeye Invite at Finkbine Golf Course.
The pair carded tournament scores of 212 (-4) and tied for fifth overall in the strong tournament field.
Troy had rounds of 67, 68, and 77 for his 212, while Barger shot scores of 74, 66, and 72.
For Barger, it is his fifth Golfer of the Week honor this season, and he is second on the team in stroke average (73.
