NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State tips off the 2016-17 Missouri Valley Conference season versus Evansville Thursday at 7 p.m. on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena. Winners in four of their past five games, the Redbirds finished nonconference play with an 8-4 record. The Purple Aces have won seven-straight games to go 9-4 during the nonconference season.
