CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Illinois State senior gymnast Amanda Mohler was named the Midwest Independent Conference Senior of the Year and won the conference championship on the balance beam, as the Redbirds finished in fourth place overall Saturday night at the MIC Championship hosted by Southeast Missouri State.
Lindenwood won the conference title with a total score of 194.925, followed closely by SEMO in second place with a final tally of 194.375. Texas Women's finished in third place with a score of 193.325 ahead of the Redbirds in fourth, and UIC (191.625) and Centenary (188.
