NORMAL, Ill. – The 14th-annual Redbird Fan Fair will take place Saturday, Aug. 18, on the Illinois State campus, where patrons will have the opportunity to enjoy the Redbird volleyball exhibition match, a football scrimmage, carnival games and music.
All events are open to the public and serve as the official kickoff of the 2018 fall athletics season. Free parking will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis in lots surrounding Hancock Stadium and Redbird Arena.
Redbird volleyball kicks off the season with an exhibition match versus DePaul at 1 p.m. to start the day's activities, with a free kids clinic (ages 12 and under) to follow on court after the completion of the match.
