ST. LOUIS – Illinois State's student-athletes Kierston Farley-Sepe and Caroline Leceour have been named Missouri Valley Conference's Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, the league announced Tuesday.
Farley-Sepe had a record-breaking weekend, not only scoring first in all three of her events, but breaking the 50-yard butterfly record for Horton Pool at Illinois State for the first time since 2014. Breaking the pool record of 25.95, Farley-Sepe clocked a time of 25.85. Placing first in her other two events, the 200-yard medley relay with a split of 27.25 for a final time of 1:47.
