NEW ORLEANS – The Illinois State men's and women's cross country teams along with four individual Redbird cross country student-athletes garnered U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors for the their efforts in the classroom and on the cross country course.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction as a team, Illinois State had to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. In order to qualify for individual All-Academic distinction, student-athletes had to have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.
