NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State baseball team will return to action this weekend with a three-game series versus the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks in Oxford, Ohio.
With expected cold temperatures Friday, the teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon CT, before a series finale Sunday, which will also begin with a noon CT first pitch.
Illinois State (2-4) will try to bounce back from a tough trip to Memphis, Tennessee, last weekend, Feb. 24-26, as the Redbirds were swept by the Tigers in a three-game series at FedEx Park by a combined four runs.
