MUNCIE, Ind. - Illinois State baseball has added a midweek contest against Ball State in Muncie, Indiana, next Tuesday, February 25, with first pitch set for 1:00 p.m. CT.
Tuesday's meeting will mark the first time the Cardinals and Redbirds meet on the diamond since 2006 when Ball State secured a 9-3 neutral site win in Minneapolis, Minn.
The two programs will meet in Muncie for the first time in 22 years, as the Birds last made the trip to the Hoosier State in 2003 for a three-game series.
