NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State women's tennis team will wrap up a busy month of February in the Windy City this weekend, as the Redbirds are set to play matches at UIC on Saturday and at Chicago State on Sunday.
Winners of five-straight matches, the Redbirds are coming off a dominant 7-0 victory over in-state foe Western Illinois on Wednesday. It was a complete sweep for the Redbirds in doubles play, as each of the duos did not give up a game and won with 6-0 scores. The result was similar in singles action, as each player won in straight sets in relatively easy fashion.
