PEORIA — Bradley extended its winning streak to four games Wednesday night, but it was anything but easy.
The Braves (19-9, 10-5) needed overtime to defeat Missouri State 83-79 in a wild and wooly contest before a frenzied crowd of 5,708 at Carver Arena.
With the score tied at 79, Bradley’s Elijah Childs was fouled — the 51st foul of the game — and sank both free throws. After the Bears failed to score, Ja’Shon Henry dunked for the insurance points.
The game was a physical and foul-plagued affair as three players fouled out and a host of others had four.
