NORMAL — It's been a long time coming, but that does not mean Maya Wong has been busy pondering the inevitable day.
"I try not to think about to be quite honest because I love this place, and they've been so great to me the past six years," said Wong, who will play her final Illinois State women's basketball home game Saturday when the Redbirds tangle with Valparaiso in a 4 p.m. tipoff at CEFCU Arena.
"I can't imagine being anywhere else so I just try to be present in the moment and be really grateful for everything and be the best I can be to try to end my last year on a good note.
