A startling collapse by the Redbirds in the final five minutes of the second quarter led to SDSU snapping a 7-7 tie.
The Jackrabbits took advantage of two ISU fumbles by converting with a 5-yard Mikey Daniel touchdown run and a 5-yard Taryn Christion scoring pass to Jacob Brown.
After an ISU punt, Christion burned the Redbirds with an 81-yard touchdown toss to Cade Johnson as ISU cornerback Willie Edwards fell and was injured on the play.
ISU's JT. Bohlken was then wide left with a 35-yard field goal try with two seconds left in the half.
