PEORIA, IL – The Bradley soccer team battled nationally-ranked Missouri State into overtime only for the No. 8 Bears to prevail, 1-0. The Braves are now 2-4-0 on the year and 1-4-0 in Missouri Valley Conference play, while the Bears improve to 5-0-0 and 4-0-0 in league play.
Missouri State outshot the Braves, 18-6, in regulation but could not solve senior Bryce Logan in net, recording eight saves for Bradley. Additionally, twice BU players cleared the ball off the line during the opening 90 minutes of action to keep the game deadlocked at zero.
