PEORIA, IL – Nationally-ranked Missouri State took advantage of a late goal in each half to rally past the Bradley soccer team for a 2-1 victory at Shea Stadium on Saturday night. The Braves are now 4-5-3 on the season and 3-3-1 in Missouri Valley Conference action, while the No. 14 Bears improve their mark to a perfect 12-0-0 in 2019.
Bradley struck first in the contest, scoring from the spot in the 26th minute of play. Senior Jack Lang dribbled past a Missouri State defender and drew a foul in the box with classmate Jha'Lon Johnson finishing the PK for his first goal of the season and the 1-0 advantage.
